Cheyenne's first cordless tattoo machine, the SOL NOVA Unlimited 3.5, already revolutionized the tattoo scene enormously. Originally it was modeled after its predecessor, but comes without the annoying cable. Now Cheyenne has launched the latest model, the SOL NOVA Unlimited 4.0.
But how does it differ from its predecessor?

What is a tattoo pen and what are the advantages?

Let's start with the basics - what exactly is a tattoo pen?
As the name suggests, the tattoo machine is modeled after a pen. Thanks to this ergonomic pen shape, the tattoo artist has a great freedom of movement. The machine is pen-like in the hand and is perfectly balanced. Due to the pen design, the back of the hand is not constantly stressed.
The pen can only be used with needle modules. Therefore, the use of a variety of different needle sizes is possible with only one machine. Another advantage of the pen-shaped machine is that the vibration is kept low and allows an easy start into tattooing, especially for beginners.

What is the difference between the 4.0 and its predecessor?

Like its predecessor, the SOL NOVA Unlimited 4.0 is powered by a rechargeable battery and can be controlled with a single button. The frequency can be varied via a movement. To do this, hold down the button and tilt the machine. This unprecedented, revolutionary operating concept offers tattoo artists enormous freedom and simplifies the work process.
However, due to the lack of a charging cable, you should make sure that the battery is fully charged before each session!
But now we come to the difference between the SOL NOVA Unlimited 4.0 and the SOL NOVA Unlimited 3.5. Behind the numbers in the name is the stroke length of the respective machine. After many tattoo artists at Cheyenne had requested a stroke of 4.0, Cheyenne quickly complied. Due to the stronger stroke length of 4 mm, the new machine has more power, but still remains gentle to the skin.
The machine is therefore particularly suitable for lining and color packing.

SOL NOVA Unlimited 4.0 als perfekter Allrounder

The SOL NOVA Unlimited offers two operating modes: Steady Mode and Responsive Mode.
In Steady Mode, the tattoo needle penetrates the skin with constant force, and the force and stitch frequency remain constant.
In Responsive Mode, on the other hand, the penetration depth of the needle is permanently adapted to the conditions of the skin and produces an extremely clean stitch pattern. The gentle mode of operation also minimizes the sensation of pain.
Cheyenne has outdone itself with the new SOL NOVA Unlimited 4.0 and offers tattoo artists a powerful, flexible and reliable machine.
The machine is very easy to hygienically cover and wrap.
The built-in battery offers a runtime of at least five hours.
Much of the equipment and working materials in the tattoo world depend on user preferences. From inks and needles to machines and power supplies.
