The pedal is filled with air and contains no electronic components. The soft pedal is sensitive all around and can be operated from any position with the foot or hand.
Through the hollow hose, the pedal is used to direct the air into the pneumatic switch, which in turn starts the device. As soon as the foot is removed from the pedal, the switch also turns off. The unique non-metallic structure and operating characteristics of the product allow it to work in any wet or hazardous environment.
