Liner needles are used specifically for lining, i.e. for creating outlines or for demarcating different designs. They are pointed at the front and are guided perpendicular to the skin during tattooing. Tight Liners are particularly close together. This gives the needle more stability against the skin without creating a significantly thicker line.

Each needle type is color-coded for easy identification of the configuration in use, and the needle size is stamped on the tip of the module for complete identification.
