Liner needles are used specifically for lining, i.e. for creating outlines or for demarcating different designs. They are pointed at the front and are guided perpendicular to the skin during tattooing. The angled diamond tip of the Diamond Liner centers the needle and ensures linear force transmission from the needle bar to the needle module.

Each needle type is color-coded for easy identification of the configuration in use, and the needle size is stamped on the tip of the module for complete identification.
